 irene... please email me at least a week in advance when the vote will 
 take place and i will return with other investors to vote "yes"... the 
 simple reason being that "bonds" are not adequately discussed in detail 
 in any of the available public  groups... 
  
  
 irene... a bond "specific" group could help the other investing groups, 
 as a resource... myself, i started investing when a child and today, 
 after thirty plus years, have accumulated a portfolio in the millions, 
 from stocks, though i watch the bond market, given that it's an 
 alternative to money flow... that i too hold several  preferreds, that 
 are a bridge to the bond market, i would be interested in an educated 
 discussion of the intricacies per investing and or trading specifically 
 in bonds... 
  
  
 irene... perhaps y'all will reach out to that huge segment of baby 
 boomers who themselves will soon be retiring, joining the seniors who 
 already find  themselves targeted by commission paid financial 
 salespeople and planners to sell them bonds or bond funds, for which 
 y'all's new bond specific group could educate them, sooo that they are 
 able to make a better financial decision, or at least have an 
 understanding of bonds, other than of what some paid motivated 
 professional tells them... 
  
  
 irene... i would prefer a "moderated" group that could reduce the "OT" 
 off topic, the promoters / sellers / scam artists and the nonproductive 
 rants such as we've seen here that inundate such groups as misc invest 
 stocks or the various financial planning and funds groups... though a 
 non-moderated group would be better than none at all...
