I've been a DBA for over a decade and have been through several migrations
between different platforms and/or databases, and have never seen the
term "ETL" anyplace but here. Either comp.databases.data-conversion
or comp.databases.data-migration would make much more sense to me.
(When I first saw "comp.databases.etl" I thought it referred to some
new database vendor called ETL.)
