 It's been a decade since someone was working on this. Perhaps irl is 
 still listening here and might still have something?

 TBH I wasn't even aware a live-image existed. We barely struggle to 
 keep the meta packages alive. The only thing I did in that area was a 
 few years ago to delete all the web pages pointing to a very old image 
 version (etch?) that never got updated.
