thanks for your interest and offer to help!

We usually ask new people to contribute their work in one of several
possible ways (as described below) for some time, before they get full
write access to the whole git repositories.

Please note that the debian-installer is indeed available in Hindi.
The translation status is not that bad (98% translated), that is only
 little work to do.
 Please find translation statistics here:
 https://d-i.debian.org/l10n-stats/

If you want to work on this, I propose you either sent the translated
 po files from
 https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/d-i/-/tree/master/packag
 s/po?ref_type=heads
here to the list or personally to me, or file a bugreport on bugs.debian.
 org.
Or if you prefer to use a web-based translation workflow, you can register
 an account at https://hosted.weblate.org/
 and work via https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/debian-installer/.
Or a third possibility to contribute your work is via a merge request on
 salsa.debian.org.
 See https://lists.debian.org/debian-www/2019/11/msg00092.html
 and
 https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/repository/forking_workflow.html
if this is new for you.

 Another target:
Since you write about translating documentation above, you meant to
 translate
the Debian Installation Guide into Hindi, maybe?
Such translation does not exist indeed.
It's much work however, when starting from zero, as you already know.
As with the installer itself, you can work on po files directly or use
Weblate for the installation-guide as well:
 https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/installation-guide/-/tre
 /master/po/pot?ref_type=heads
 or
 https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/debian-installation-guide/
Please let me know, if you want to use Weblate; I can activate Hindi
 there, if you want.

Besides this, I would welcome if you could complete the translation of
the installer itself into Hindi, as written above. That's not much work,
as far as I can see.

 Hope to hear from you

 Holger
