| Subj: Bug#1118486: rootskel-gtk: testing/unsta |
XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist From: smcv@debian.org Source: rootskel-gtk Version: 13.0.4 Severity: normal Tags: forky sid patch Forwarded: https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/rootskel-gtk/ /merge_requests/6 Similar to #1084903, it's misleading for the d-i snapshots that install testing/unstable to say "Debian 13" in the banner at the top. When new branding is available - either visually distinct not-the-stable-release branding as suggested in #1038660, or official Debian 14 branding during the freeze - rootskel-gtk can have that. Until then, the next best thing would be to keep the Debian 13 visual identity but delete the "13" from the logo, as is done in the MR linked above. The MR above fixes the banner at the top of the GTK installer, and works in both normal (light) and dark/accessible modes. It doesn't address the background used for the grub menu, which I think lives in a different package (but I'm not sure which one). smcv --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
