| Subj: Bug#1115117: debian-installer: Does not |
XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist This is a multi-part MIME message sent by reportbug. Source: debian-installer Severity: critical Justification: causes serious data loss Dear Maintainer, using debian-13.1.0-amd64-netinst.iso and choosing expert installer to install debian, the screens shown in attached pictures are displayed during the partitioning stage of the installation. On the first picture, you can see that partition #2 is the /boot partition. On the second picture, a WARNING is presented to the user, asking for confirmation that the presented partitions will be formatted, erasing all data on them. The /boot partition is missing from the confirmation screen, however it too will be formatted. This can lead to critical data loss if the user expects the confirmation screen to list everything that will be erased.
