| Subj: Bug#1119643: Default name for root subvo |
XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist From: joao@jguerra.dev Package: debian-installer Version: 13.1.0 Hello, when creating a BTRFS partition for /, the installer names the root subvolume as @rootfs. The name @ has been popularized by many other distributions for /, and as become sort of a standard. Several tools expect this nomenclature, such as Timeshift and others. While easy to change during installation, it may cause issues for more inexperienced users not familiar with the details, causing issues post installation. I ask you to consider this change. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
