  Subj: partman-crypto: using UUID-based names f
 From: david@hardeman.nu

 Hi,

now that Trixie has been released, might this be a good time to consider
changing the default names given to luks-based volumes in partman-crypto by
 merging MR9 [1]?

Using "luks-" matches the defaults used by dracut and systemd, meaning
that it works as expected with various "rd.init.luks=" kernel command line
parameters e.g. for dracut (which I assume might become a more common option
 in the future [2]). It
also avoids situations where the luks device gets named e.g. "sdb2_crypt",
even though the underlying device is e.g. sda2 once the system gets booted.

 Cheers,
 David
