XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist From: vdanjean@debian.org This is a multi-part MIME message sent by reportbug. Package: installation-reports Severity: minor Hi, The current trixie installer switches to GB as default unit instead of MB. And indeed, both for plain (gpt) partitions and logical volume (LVM), I checked that the default unit is now GB. I think that the default unit should be added in the text when choosing plain (gpt) partitions. And, in any way, the text when choosing LV size must be changed as it still refer to megabytes instead of gigabytes (but gigabytes are really used). Here are two screenshot of the installer text: - one when creating plain (gpt) partition with no information about default unit (GB used) - one when creating logical volume (LVM) which state that the defaut unit is Megabyte (GB in fact) Regards Vincent [SoupGate killed MIME-encoded file default_unit_part.png (57256 bytes)] [SoupGate killed MIME-encoded file default_unit_LV.png (54910 bytes)] --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
