/i wend through all steps - then grub install failed
i tried to restart grub install -it failed,
returned to main options menu, tried grub install
it asked me to enter boot-disk manually..
wend back to partition disk .. verified it was the right medium
it then jumped to the grub installer, that failed again
and then i entered the shell where i executed the proper
 commands.. that fixed the issue..
 (had to lookup this solution)
