 Well, I can€€€t satisfy both your request and the opposite request I got 
 from several people in this thread. So MRs are going to stay disabled at 
 least until I take time to document how to send contributions to the 
 packages I maintain, and ensure this documentation is clearly visible to 
 any potential contributor. 
  
 Keeping in mind that this documentation effort is not my priority, 
 actual packages maintenance is more important to me. In the meantime 
 people who *really* want to help me with that maintenance are going to 
 find a way no matter whether MRs are enabled or disabled.
