 We already issue "point releases" for our stable releases with the sorts 
 of things that you describe.  See e.g. 
 https://www.debian.org/News/2025/20250906 for the most recent one. 
  
 (Exactly how serious bugs have to be to be fixed in a stable release is 
 always a judgement call, and that's up to the combination of the package 
 maintainers and the stable release managers.)
