| Subj: Bug#1110880: general: Kernel 6.12.38-1 - |
XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist From: appease_perpetual431@simplelogin.com Package: general Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: appease_perpetual431@simplelogin.com Dear Maintainer, After a recent distribution upgrade, my system no longer resumes from suspend. The screen remains black, requiring a hard reboot. This is a regression, as the system suspends and resumes correctly when I boot with the older kernel. Steps to Reproduce: Boot with kernel 6.12.38-1. Log into the XFCE desktop. Suspend the system (e.g., by closing the laptop lid or running systemctl suspend). Wake the system. Expected Result: The desktop/lock screen should appear and be usable. Actual Result: The display remains black and unresponsive. Working Configuration: This issue does NOT occur on kernel 6.1.140-1. System Information: Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti NVIDIA Driver Version: 550.163.01-2 I have attached the full journalctl log from a failed boot (journalctl -b - 1). Thank you for your time. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
