| Subj: Bug#1117044: rust-terminal-prompt: Disab |
From: jbicha@debian.org Source: rust-terminal-prompt Version: 0.2.3-7 Tags: patch Although rust-winapi currently exists in Debian, I think that generally it should not be used. It increases the file space used to provide support for Windows-specific APIs which isn't beneficial for .deb's. Therefore, I'm attaching a patch (in my followup email) to remove this dependency. Eventually, I expect Debian's tooling (in rust-debcargo perhaps) will automatically disable dependencies and features that Cargo.toml clearly marks as only being used for Windows (or other unrelated OSes). Until that happens, a patch is needed. Thank you, Jeremy B€€cha --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
