 As for speed, I 'may' *cough cough* have driven as fast as 230kph on the 
 highway (given the right conditions). You don't want to know how much gas is 
 consumed at speeds above 160kph. Even in a compact car, you can watch the 
 needle drop. 
  
 And before the flames start, 230kph is 'only' 130mph. My father told me 
 stories about him and his friends driving at those speeds on BACK ROADS in 
 the 60's in 3-ton cars with drum brakes, no steering and bias-ply tires. 
 It's a wonder they're still alive.
