No Looie: Not lies, you weren't listening carefully!
And are jumping to an incorrect conclusion.
What Harper said, and I heard it several times in different
venues/broadcasts, was;
"We will reduce the GST, by one per cent immediately, to six percent and
then by another one per cent (and at this point I can't remember the exact
words, but something along lines of) during our mandate or over the next
five years". See note below.
He did NOT promise to reduce it by TWO per cent all at one time.
It'll be interesting to see if those in opposition allow him to do so?
Be just like the opposition parties to obstruct and then claim the Cons.
