 Some financial institutions, mainly in the UK as far as I can determine, 
 will offer 'zero percent' interest for various lengths of time, sometimes up 
 to 9 or even 12 months; if you transfer an outstanding credit balance to 
 their card. 
 Various conditions apply and of course the aim is to get you to use their 
 card services at 'their normal interest rates' for other purposes. 
 Has anyone noted any North American, US or Canadian, outfits who offer 
 anything close; for example 'Low interest'? 
 Zero percent would certainly be even less than the 5% to 7% that one 
 typically pays on a non-secured bank Line of Credit.
