 I am not sure on the legality of this... I have heard many things... Some 
 places do charge 25 cents on a purchase under a certain dollar amount, and I 
 try and avoid them places when at all possible, but I believe they are 
 alloud as long as they have signage that clearly states this... (I also 
 heard that it is also suppose to come up on the keypads too, but I am not 
 certain of this, as I have only seen a few places). Call your bank or the 
 interac crowd and find out what the policy is on this, as I am sure they 
 should know.
