Your comments make a great deal of sense. However my policy says "No guaranteed replacement cost/building loc"! I wonder what that means? The house itself (Item A Dwelling/Building) is insured for $170,000. But I feel the market value is of the order of $120,000 to $140,000 maybe $160,000 at the outside! And that would include the 60ft by 12ft driveway out to the street, 30 year old trees, two sheds, a useful location near a school etc. I'm going to ask my agent some more questions! Any further comments would be most welcome. Thanks Terry. PS Are there any insurance discussion/news groups that I could log onto. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
