 Majority of the postings in this group are still junk/spam advertising or 
 off topic. 
 Actual consumer postings here are in the minority! 
 Can.consumers  compares badly to some other 'consumer oriented' news groups 
 where junk postings are given short shift by regulars to the group and where 
 spammers and are reported to their originating ISPs etc.
