 Death Notices  (07/09/03) 
 COLLINS, Major R.J., CD (Ret'd) Unexpectedly on Friday, July 4, 2003 age 
 59 years. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Lilian Collins of 
 Niagara Falls. Richard proudly served for 35 years with postings in 
 Winnipeg, Comox, Greenwood, Halifax and finally Ottawa. He met friends 
 from across the world, first as a ham operator (VEIBAX), then through 
 his love of computers and the Internet. His children Victoria and Ian 
 and their mother Claire are proud of Rick's accomplishments and the 
 unique military life they led. He will be missed by many. Friends may 
 call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road 
 at Roosevelt, on Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. Memorial service will be held 
 at Willowdale Christian Reformed Church, 150 Hilda Ave., Toronto, on 
 Saturday at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Doctors 
 without Borders, 720 Spadina Avenue, Suite 402, Toronto M5S 2T9 or the 
 charity of their choice. Condolences, tributes or donations may be made 
 at shipmaker@sprint.ca
