One thing that no one has mentioned, is it possible that changing to IRM from CAR would be considered a new policy by SISIP, and if you have new health problems they could all of a sudden deny you coverage? Saving themselves hockey socks full of money and leaving the member out in the cold. I attempted before my medical release to increase my coverage on me and my spouse, and due to our problems, PTSD related, we were denied the increase in coverage. Mortgage insureance was denied by our bank for the same reasons. For these reasons I will not change. I don't want to lose what I have. No matter what they say! The bottom is all really care about.
