 From: 2.k.2.ragtop@rogers.com

Air Reservists at 16 AR Flt usually work normal work days with their units,
up to twelve full days per month. However, if the unit needs them to work
shifts, evenings or weekends, they can be asked to do so. Air Reservists
from the flight work for several different units all over CFB Borden (and in
 Cornwall).

The minimum time commitment per month will depend on the unit. Some units
are satisfied with six days per month, others want the full twelve (and
more!). I don't think that two days per month will meet any unit's needs,
though, but I can find out.

There is no weekly parade night for 16 AR Flt, but I believe that there is
 for 400 Sqn.

There are members of 16 AR Flt that travel an hour or more to work, from
Orillia for example, but most live closer to the base than that. My commute
is about 30 minutes, for example.

Please note that I've written here about 16 AR Flt. 400 Sqn is a separate
unit with its own requirements that may differ somewhat so, hopefully,
someone from 400 Sqn will answer your post, too.

Send me an e-mail if you want to know more because I'll need some more
information about you so I can determine if I have a vacant position for
 you.
