I found a box of bullets in my garage that a previous tenant has left 
 behind.  The box is 5x3x2", and weighs about 1 lb.   The bullets are 
 3" long, and have "1943    d\\ Z" marked around the primer.   They look like 
 roughly .22 calibre rounds. 
  
 Are these antiques worth anything?    I want to get rid of them, but will 
 sell if they're worth anything. 
  
 If they aren't worth anything, can I drop them off at a local military base 
 as "Amnesty ammunition"?
