 I heard about it through the grapevine and read about it in Flight 
 Safety Reports. There has been a noticeable upward trend of gliding 
 incidents/accidents across the country. It seems like people are 
 forgetting that the airframes are getting older and combined with the 
 immortal concepts of youth there will always be dangerous incidents.
