 We have been experiencing class "C" restrictions (closures to general 
 aviation) here in the Vancouver area, over the last few months. Direct 
 flights to the Island over the Vancouver area are tougher these days as we 
 have to go south to get into Victoria Class C in order to do the transit to 
 the island at the safe glide altitude. 
 We are told that there was an influx of experienced controllers that took 
 the retirement package, and left hugh holes in the shift schedules... and 
 it'll take awhile to fill those boots! 
  
 Thats the scuttlebut around here, anyway.
