Well, following up on things, it seems that it may have possibly been
a bit of an over-reaction..
I called Transport Canada directly the day after all of this, and
spoke to a pleasant doctor there (Within 30 seconds of calling!) and
explained the situation.
Apparently, he didn't interpret it as a problem (Based on my
explanation of things), and said I shouldn't really worry about it.
To double check on it, he took down my information and said he would
keep an eye out for my medical when it arrived, to look it over
personally.
That was sure a load off.. :-)
It was also nice calling a government agency for once, not getting
stuck in "Push a button" hell to begin with (A real person right off
the bat!), and then actually not being put on hold for 2 hours..
Then, to top it off, I got to the right person first try, and got a
resolution within minutes.
Entire phone call, about 5 minutes...
Some other government agencies should take footnotes on what Transport
Canada is doing, because they've got it right, that's for sure.. :-)
