 How times have changed, I checked my log book and in 1954 the cadet 
 course was 30 hours. I started on July 5th and did my ride on July 25th. 
 Good weather,and good instructors at the old Winnipeg Flying Club. I 
 think it was worth $300. If I remember correctly, dual was $9/hr and 
 solo $7/hr.
