7214ef6d XPost: rec.aviation.student From: kontiki@frontiernet.net I don't know what the cost per hour of training in Canada is, but but its probably gonna be either side of $100 (plane rental and CFI). By my math that's $1500 (US). Compare that to the cost of a 4 hour trip... its a no brainer. Of course you probably won't pick up right where you left off in terms of skill level but having soloed with 15 hours of training is significant. You will probably recover in a few flying hours if you're competent and can do some extra studying to bring your aeronautical knowledge back to where it was. I'm just curious as to why they can't just send your training records to you.... sounds a bit anal ... but if it were me I'd certainly not erase your previous flying hours... they're hard won and someday you may wish you could claim another 15 hours. Good luck in your continued training. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
