Kennedy was on PT 109, because PT boats rarely saw combat. As for
Kennedy's heroics, there is a fair bit of doubt about the events that
surrounded that tale. What is known is that his father made sure that
everyone knew the story and no one could doubt it. Joe Kennedy always
got what he wanted.
