 Do not forget that Canada has become essentially a 'sissy state' as a 
 result of generations of leftists who promote nanny state policies. Self 
 reliance is not in the Lefty vocabulary! 
  
 Whatever happened to freedoms, whatever happened to governments only doing 
 the essential things and not becoming profit centres? 
  
 Both the Liberals and the NDP want to significantly increase taxes. They 
 want to expand social engineering programs. They want to abolish 
 individual choice in favour of micro-managing our lives. 
  
 Harper is talking about reducing our reliance on government, expanding our 
 industries which in turn provide employment. The NDP, the Unions and the 
 rest of the lefties are talking the opposite. The Liberals have lost all 
 sense of direction.
