On the other hand, psychiatry is based on some pretty shakey ground. SSRIs
seem to be nothing more than addictive substances that don't produce
euphoria.
People who use them find relief when they take their pill because they are
addicted to it. That's why the literature on them says that they take a few
weeks to 'start working'. What's actually happening in those three weeks is
the development of a dependency on the SSRI.
Scientology attacks psychiatry from a position which is more reprehensible
than
psychiatry, but that doesn't mean psychiatry is beyond reproach.
