 I am not denying what you are saying, but the fact still exists that 
 the vast majority of women do not want guns.   They don't have the 
 testosterone you men have and don't generally want to hurt other 
 humans even in self defence. 
  
 Women would prefer a peaceful society, and a peaceful society for them 
 is a ban on all hand guns and improved protection under the law such 
 as the special telephone line for abused women to report on their 
 husbands, which came into force with the New Firearms Bill.  And also, 
 easier or no sentencing for women who can prove long term abuse as a 
 reason for killing their spouse.
