State precisely by what mechanism a democracy limits the effectiveness of
 black markets?
Essential freedoms such as mobility and protection from unnecessary police
survelliance and intrusion actually improve the economics of a black market.
See Narcotics for an example. This is the quintessential black market. Or
bear gall bladders. Or elephant ivory. Or Cuban cigars in the US. Or child
 pornography.

How about thousands of fish and game associations, gun clubs, hunters
associations, aboriginal groups, or are these average Canadians too
 aggressive as well?
How has the ILA been instrumental in demolishing Canadian firearm laws?

You also fail to include in your list the rather aggressive tactics of the
anti-gun lobby in Canada. Or is the sweat off their brow somehow sweeter to
your tastes? Lobbying is lobbying is lobbying.

What right is it of yours to declare how others should live? What right is
it of yours to condemn 1000s of law abiding Canadians?
Oscar Wilde was right, patriotism is the last, desperate act of the vicious.

The fact that you don't see the need for handguns is not an excuse for
 limiting the choice of others.
There's a description for that. It's called tyranny of the righteous.
