  You don't take an aspirin unless you first have a pain or something to

  You don't think of getting shot unless you are voluntarily  being used 
 as a target at a range, which is obviously unlikely unless you really want

  Some people in these street gang shoots actually voluntarily jumped on 
 the person being fired on, in front of the line of fire, like in Gastown 
 Vancouver Last year. 
  
  If you think of Drive-Bys, they are usually a  gunpowder or pump rifle, 
 although I don't know why they don't use the car, since it has a lot more 
 clout. 
 But of course my reasoning on clout is directed by the fact that I usually 
 defensively drive a M/Cycle for the last 20 years.
