 Fisheries minister Geoff Reagan is about to accomplish what other past 
 fisheries ministers tried but failed.He is about to completely destroy the 
 herring fishery in the gulf of st lawrence and every other fishery which 
 depend on the herring! 
    He is by no means alone in this .There are four MPs from prince edward 
 island who are so scared of  Paul Martin that they will not speak out 
 publicly on this matter.It is quite a thing to behold ,four people who were 
 just voted back in power for five years,drawing  big salaries to represent 
 these same voters,yet will not speak out because they want to save their own 
 necks.In particular ,Shawn Murphy,parlimentary secretary to this minister! 
 (Careful shawn you might miss out on some handout later,ie senator or a full 
 minister) Let me see,what does Shawn Murphy know about the fishing 
 industry???Hmmmmmm HmmmmmmmmmmHmmmmmmmHmmmmmOh well,I can't think of what he 
 knows right now but I'll think of something .Maybe! I remember seeing him at 
 a large supermarket in Charlottetown looking at the,lobster tank. or was it 
 at some salt herring? 
     With the stroke of a pen, the future of the fishing industry in atlantic 
 canada is decided.This power must be removed from the likes of Geoff Reagan. 
    You must remember that the fishermen on PEI spoke out against this 
 overfishing .Guess what happened?Peaceful protestors in Souris were met by 
 riot police dressed in full protective gear(shields,batons, etc)attack 
 dogs,video cameras,barricades.The tractor trailer trucks loaded with herring 
 were given police escorts off PEI .RCMP going to fishermans homes who spoke 
 out at these protestsThe list goes on but you get the idea. 
   The time has come,before it is too late.Will the rest of Atlantic canada
