 I-Channel (which I think stands for Independent Channel) had a 
 discussion show called "I on the Media" and low and behold they were 
 talking about how channels like Al Jezeera and Fox News are having 
 unreasonable restrictions placed against them by the government CRTC. 
  
 Incredibly, the commentators seemed to think we should be allowed to 
 have Fox News! I now love I-Channel, not because of their views on Fox 
 but because they actually think we as people should have the freedom 
 to choose. Way to go! Maybe Canada isn't such a lost cause when it 
 comes to freedoms. 
  
 One of the commentators even said the parliamentary network in Ottawa 
 (who knew there was such a thing?) carries Fox News, but the great 
 unwashed masses aren't allowed to have it. God I hate our government.
