hey power, good to see u again -
Without starting something off......I understand your thoughts. But let me
give you this to think about.
Lets ay two faiths share similar ideas, some say worship the same God, come
from a same point of ancestory....okay? Now, one of those faiths that are
using the history of the older faith has changed some of the things to come
up with something completely different.
So, now, people who want to make sure the original God is present properly
to people, and to make sure the difference is know, preach that. It's up to
the person to believe the differences etc...
Personally Powerhouse, when I preach to a different faith, take Islam for
example, it's what we are talking about here, I start right away by
mentioning two things 1- YOU MUST LISTEN TO YOUR GOVERNMENT - our faith
even says so-- as many think westerners are there to overthrow their
government by faith and lies. 2- We, as Children of God through Jesus the
Christ, DO NOT CLAIM that allah had a son, that he slept with Mary
etc....and remember even Mohammed said Christians and Jews are part of the
Umma or believer family.
I say this to start off on their field, set at easy political people and
religious alike. And any "faith" issues beyond pointing out false beliefs
about Christians and even parts of their own book they follow not according
to the original writing, anything else is up to them.
See? More about correction, not about conversion.
Hope that helps some?
