Tom Baker's Doctor investigates a charismatic Chinese magician, Weng Chiang, but all is not as it seems. Weng Chiang harbours a dark secret - he's an alien villain after Earth's life force! This serial blends Sherlock Holmes vibes with classic Who's fantastical elements. The Victorian London setting is richly detailed, and the supporting cast is a hoot (watch out for Sarah Jane's hilarious disguise!). Beware, racism present: The portrayal of the villain relies on offensive stereotypes. While a product of its time, it's a blemish on an otherwise entertaining adventure. Still, the suspenseful plot, witty dialogue, and surprising twists make this a winner for Doctor Who fans who can navigate the historical baggage. -- Member - Liberal International This is doctor@nk.ca Ici doctor@nk.ca Yahweh, King & country!Never Satan President Republic!Beware AntiChrist rising!
