 You've confused "using Unix" with "off topic posting to UseNetNews". 
  
 Besides, not all *NIXes are the same. You must be thinking of 
 Baal's Satanic Distribution, which is full of Daemons... 
 ...which is way better than full of virii, worms, and scripts that 
 publish your address book, like Will-I-AM Gates-of-Hell's 
 MicrointelligentSoftWARE's loseDOwS. Surely you've seen the news that 
 when you take Bill Gates' name in ASCII it adds up to 666!?! 
  
 UNIX is a foregone conclusion... The only question is the windowing 
 system on top of it... which by the way has already been answered, 
 since GNU/Linux runs fast emulators for both the loseDOwS environment 
 and for the Macintush environment.... you can have Mac OS X, loseDOwS, 
 AND X-Windows, without ever paying for the lack-of-privelege to be 
 locked-in to some insane megalomaniac's bizarre (Jobs) or incompetent 
 (Gates) vision of "how it should be for everyone". 
  
 Freedom ain't free, but it's the only thing worth buying.
