 I have Windows 2000, and it does many things that I can't do with Solaris 8, 
 but I can think of one OS which is better. It don't crash like Windows 2000 
 or Windows XP and don't get all those virus' you get with other OS'. 
  
 I have one computer with Windows 2000, eCS 1.0, and Solaris 8 installed on 
 their own individual drives and is currently having problems with Windows 
 2000 due to adware problems and it currently don't work. eCS (OS/2) works 
 fine, and Solaris 8 is still the experimental OS used to experiment with as 
 I must be too dump to work with it, but I won't say that it is useless. 
  
 The bottom line is Windows 2000 works better since there is more drivers for 
 it, and more software sold for it, but it also has weaknesses which allow 
 for other problems which affect the way you work with it. I depend on 
 Windows XP on this laptop, and eCS 1.0 to get my work done.
