 In current cirtcumstances we NEED the moderate Muslims 
 to defeat teh fundie ones.  eg, Indonesia has successfully 
 tracked down, arrested and tried Balis and Jakarta bombers. 
  
 More successful that the americans non-hunt of Osama, 
 and stupid invasion of Iraq instead. 
  
 It helps to understand our Muslim allies in the war on terror. 
  
 BTW, the Dark ages was a metaphor, applicable to only some 
 segments.   Malaysia is technically quite advanced,
