NEED implies that my life would be somehow improved by having the
information or that there is some part of my life that cannot function
without it. Now while I am off the opinion that all knowledge is
valuable I do in no way see a NEED for having this information.
As for not WANTING the information in question showing that I do not
want education, I am more than happy to receive education that has
some bearing on my life. This is why I attend job related training and
read books etc that I find of interest.
Your statement says I was factually wrong when I was actually
commenting on the content of a tv program, unless you have a
transcript of that program you have no way of showing this statement
to be true.
