 YOU have to make the music - Cubase won't do it for you :-) 
  
 Some of the included VST instruments are a bit rudimentary (though 
 check out the new ones in latest versions of SX2).    But they aren't 
 central to Cubase.   Record your own sounds live, or investigate the 
 many available midi-controlled sound sources, both in external 
 hardware and in software. 
  
 Any recording studio will suck, if you walk in with no instruments and 
 no ideas :-)   Cubase is a recording tool, not an auto-play system.
